We’ve worked on small pipe leaks and repairs, to larger renovations and pipe replacements as well as performing heat/loss calculation on your system. And as experienced gas-fitting experts, we are certified to help with all natural gas and propane equipment in your building through testing and metering, pipe repair, gas line installation, and much more! Natural gas and propane can be an efficient way to operate everyday items like barbecues, stove ranges, clothes dryers and space heaters, or larger terms like boilers and furnaces.
Our HVAC expertise comes from close to 40 years of working with different heaters, vents, AC units, and our services range from furnace and boiler maintenance and install to furnace and AC repairs. We are a smaller outfit in Calgary, enabling us to leave a personal touch that the larger companies do not have the time to offer you. Our Journeyman Plumber and Gasfitters, Dale and Sheridan, are a dedicated team of professional tradesmen with a large scope of water conduit and heating knowledge: they are committed to their work and committed to you, their customers.

History

Dale Huston established PayDirt Mechanical in 1981, and as a locally-owned and operating Calgary business, we appreciate the value of community. For nearly 40 years, our fully trained, insured, and certified plumbing and gasfitting expert, Dale Huston, has serviced Calgary with a focus on customer satisfaction and delivering it all with a friendly and personable attitude. Fellow Gasfitter and Plumber, Sheridan, joined PayDirt in 2012 and has since delivered these same values of community through excellent work and customer service.

The Team

Dale Huston
Owner, Red Seal Journeyman Plumber, Journeyman Gasfitter

Dale, has been in Calgary for decades, started PayDirt Mechanical in 1981, and has been servicing the Calgary area to this day. In 1985, Dale earned his Red Seal Journeyman Plumber and Journeyman Gasfitter, and in 1990, earned his Certification for Mechanical Estimating. Dale is also a Certified Safety Codes Officer for Plumbing and Gas- just call him your friendly and competent neighbourhood plumber! About 7 years ago, Dale joined forces with another experienced plumber in order to help serve you better and faster.

Sheridan Paul
Journeyman Plumber, Journeyman Gasfitter

In 2013, Dale hired Sheridan in order to help with Calgary’s growing demand for reliable plumbing and HVAC services. Sheridan is a Journeyman plumber with YEARS of experience and brings another friendly attitude to the team, he enjoys communicating with customers, building relationships, and is a welcome addition to the PayDirt team. Together, we will help you to sort out any water pipes, HVAC, boiler, HWT, or furnace issues you may have in a quick and friendly manner.
